Food plays such an important role in our lives. It is often the center of many social occasions and celebrations, yet it can be the biggest cause of stress and confusion for many. Whether you are trying to manage a specific health condition or simply wanting to understand what food and lifestyle habits are best suited to you, it can be overwhelming.
I lived the familiar story of trying every fad diet and health craze that was going around, only to find myself feeling more exhausted, less energised and constantly unwell.
This drove me to discover the power of nutrition and the benefits of a healthy and balanced diet. During my training in Nutritional Therapy, I began to understand that we are all unique and require a different approach to nutrition. With this knowledge, I was able to find out what I needed to do to restore my own health, rebuild my relationship to food and really begin to nourish my body.
I graduated from the The College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM) in London and now practice as a Nutritional Therapist. I am registered with the UK Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) and a full member of the British Association for Applied Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT).
I now dedicate my time to help my clients understand what food and lifestyle habits are best suited to them. I teach them that they don't need to follow any fad diets or rigid nutrition plans to live a healthy life, symptom free and in the body that they love.
In my practice I support individuals looking to support and improve their digestive issues, weight management, relationship to food, hormone imbalances, stress management and sleep patterns as well as the busy, ‘on-the-go’ individuals who are looking for some routine to get their health back on track.
I adopt both a naturopathic and functional medicine approach to my practice, focusing on addressing the root causes of illness rather than simply managing symptoms. I support my clients back to optimal health and wellness.
My belief is that good nutrition is key to living a happy and healthy life and by restoring your energy and health via nutrition you can feel your best and live the life you want.
