What It’s Like to Work With Me
Healing your gut and rebuilding trust in your body isn’t about quick fixes. It’s a process of clarity, support, and commitment and my role is to walk alongside you, step by step. Here’s how it works:
1. A No-Pressure Discovery Call
We start with a short, 15-minute call. This is simply a chance for us to connect, talk through your main challenges, and see if we’re the right fit. There’s no pressure and no commitment, just clarity about your next step.
2. Choosing the Right Level of Support
If we’re a good fit, we’ll discuss the depth and duration of support that makes sense for you. While it’s possible to start slow, real results come from ongoing commitment, having consistent guidance, structure, and my full support rather than sporadic one-off sessions.
3. The Initial Consultation
This is where I take time to really understand you. We’ll explore:
your symptoms and health history
lifestyle and routines
past test results or diagnoses
your goals and what matters most to you
We may also gently touch on the emotional layers and stress patterns that influence your health so we’re not just treating symptoms, but uncovering the deeper story behind them. I use Compassionate Enquiry, a trauma-aware approach developed by Dr. Gabor Maté, to uncover the deeper patterns that may be influencing your health.
4. Your Personalised Plan
After our first session, I create a tailored plan that’s unique to you. This can include:
nutrition and lifestyle recommendations
supplement and functional testing guidance
practical tools for your routines
gentle support for mindset and emotional wellbeing
It’s not a rigid set of rules, it’s a plan designed to fit into your life, giving you both structure and flexibility.
5. Ongoing Support & Accountability
We’ll meet weekly at first, reviewing your progress, setting new goals, and making adjustments as you grow. Once things feel steadier, we may move to fortnightly sessions. This way, support evolves with you, always giving you the right level of guidance.
6. Between Sessions
You’re never left on your own. I’m available by WhatsApp and email throughout our work together, to answer questions, guide you through challenges.
