Hi, I’m Amanda

I’m a London-based Gut Health Nutritionist and IBS Nutritionist, and Registered Nutritional Therapist (BANT, CNHC). I specialise in chronic and complex digestive conditions, particularly cases involving dysregulation of the gut–brain axis and stress physiology, using nutritional therapy, functional medicine and targeted nervous system support to restore long-term digestive health.

Gut Conditions I Support:

IBS · SIBO · Bloating · Reflux · Constipation · Diarrhoea · Dysbiosis · Candida · Leaky Gut · Histamine Intolerance · Food Sensitivities

My Approach

Personalised Nutrition · Functional Medicine · Advanced Testing · Nervous System Support (including Compassionate Inquiry–informed approaches) · Somatic Awareness · Experience-Informed Care

BIOME

SEE THE PERSON - NOT THE PARTS

Within my 1:1 online clinic, I specialise in helping people living with persistent digestive symptoms, especially those whose issues flare with stress, feel unpredictable, or haven’t improved through conventional routes.

This method brings together:

Personalised nutrition - rooted in functional medicine and naturopathic principles.

Compassionate Inquiry - A nervous system–informed approach used to support regulation, stability and symptom resolution in complex gut cases.

Experience-informed care - Acknowledging how your past experiences shape today’s response.

Somatic Awareness - Gentle, body-based support for nervous system balance.

Functional testing (if required) - (GI360, SIBO test, DUTCH, blood panels).

Through this unique combination of approaches, my Mind–Body–Biome Method helps you gain a clearer interpretation of your symptoms, deeper insight into the less visible influences on your digestion - including prolonged stress responses and nervous system - and a better understanding of the hidden drivers of chronic gut issues.

“This work allows for breakthroughs far beyond nutrition and testing alone.”

When this approach is a good fit

Many people with long-term gut issues feel discouraged or overwhelmed by how complex things have become.

I support people living with digestive symptoms that feel confusing, unpredictable, or hard to fully resolve. Many clients come purely for nutrition-focused guidance, and others are curious about a broader whole-body lens, but everyone benefits from understanding the wider influences on their symptoms. I help bring clarity to what is happening in your body, in a way that feels steady, reassuring, and supportive. We work step by step, at a pace that feels manageable and realistic.

This approach is especially suited to those who have not found lasting relief through GP routes, medications, or restrictive diets, and who are open to exploring all the factors that may be affecting their digestion, beyond food alone.

Depending on programme length, clients receive a minimum of 7–15 hours of direct 1:1 call time, starting weekly and moving to fortnightly as appropriate.

This way of working is especially suited if you:

• Want clear, structured support, at a pace that feels manageable

• Value being properly listened to, not rushed or reduced to a symptom list

• Would like a plan that adapts to how you’re feeling week by week

• Have been living with gut symptoms for a long time and feel tired of starting over

• Have tried diets, or medical routes with only partial or short-term results

• Have lost trust in food choices, your body, or the idea that things can improve

Most people who arrive here already sense that their symptoms are not just about food. Although my work is grounded in nutrition, the heart of my approach involves exploring the other factors that shape digestive health, the daily demands on your body, patterns that may have developed over time and how your gut is functioning.

This short quiz is designed to help shine a light on where you are right now, whether you are mainly looking to rebuild your digestion, need support for symptoms that feel more reactive, or sense there may be deeper patterns involved.

Conditions I Support

I work primarily with people experiencing long-standing digestive symptoms such as IBS, SIBO, IBD, persistent bloating, reflux, constipation or diarrhoea, food sensitivities, histamine reactions, and dysbiosis.

Many of the people I support have symptoms that return despite dietary changes, are not exclusively linked to food triggers, or involve several overlapping gut issues at once. My work is designed for complex or persistent cases, where standard approaches have helped only partially or temporarily, and a more individualised, supportive process is needed.

I have extended experience working with clients struggling with:

  • 1. What does a gut health nutritionist do?

As a gut health nutritionist, I help people understand the root causes of digestive symptoms such as IBS, SIBO, bloating, reflux, constipation and food reactions. Using personalised nutrition and a nervous system-aware approach, with functional testing used where helpful, I create tailored plans that support long-term digestive healing.

    2. Do you work with IBS and SIBO?

Yes. IBS and SIBO are two of my main areas of expertise. I use a combination of evidence-based nutrition and nervous system support, with functional testing such as SIBO breath tests and GI360 used where helpful, to reduce symptoms and address underlying imbalances.

    3. Do you offer online consultations?

Yes. My clinic is fully online, supporting clients across London, and the UK. All sessions take place via Zoom and packages include between-session support.

    4. What types of functional tests do you use?

Depending on your symptoms, I may recommend tests such as the GI360, GI-MAP, SIBO breath test, DUTCH hormone test or targeted blood panels. Testing is always optional and guided by your case, symptoms and goals.

    5. Is your approach suitable for people whose symptoms worsen with stress?

Absolutely. Many clients come to me because their digestion is closely linked to stress, or overwhelm. My Mind–Body–Biome™ method integrates nutritional therapy with nervous system support to improve both digestion and overall regulation.

    6. What kinds of symptoms or conditions do you support?

I work with IBS, SIBO, bloating, reflux, constipation, diarrhoea, dysbiosis, Candida, leaky gut, histamine intolerance, hormone-related digestive symptoms and food sensitivities.
A complete list is available on my Conditions I Support page.

    7. How do I know if we’re the right fit?

If you have long-standing digestive symptoms, feel your gut reacts strongly to stress, or haven’t found answers through GP routes or restrictive diets, my approach may be a good match. You’re welcome to book a free call to ask questions and explore whether working together feels right.

    8. How do your programmes differ from most gut health support?

Most gut health support is short-term and protocol-led. My programmes are designed for complex, long-standing symptoms and real life healing, not quick fixes.

    • Weekly sessions at the start, not monthly check-ins

    • Minimum of 8–14 follow-up calls (plus an initial consultation), depending on programme length

    • Multi-month continuity, not short protocols

    • Nervous system informed care built into every session

    • Real-time plan adjustments based on symptoms, tests, and capacity

    • Ongoing WhatsApp and email support between sessions

    • Specialism in complex and chronic cases

    • Focus on long-term outcomes, not temporary symptom control
