Regulation Reset

A Structured 3-Session Intervention for Stress-Amplified Symptoms

This pathway is used as a starting point when symptoms are highly reactive, or as a short standalone intervention for clients referred by other practitioners.

It is designed for cases where nervous system reactivity is maintaining symptom patterns, making it difficult for physical or nutritional interventions to land effectively.

The Restore – Regulate – Reset Framework

This work follows a structured physiological progression.

Restore
Rebuild awareness, reduce overwhelm, and re-establish a baseline sense of safety in the body.

Regulate
Stabilise nervous system activation and reduce symptom reactivity.

Reset
Interrupt the stress–symptom loop and support a more consistent physiological response.

Session 1 – Mapping Reactivity (Restore)

We explore:

• Your symptom patterns
• Stress and trigger loops
• Where your body feels tense, guarded, or overwhelmed
• How your system has adapted over time

This session builds clarity and begins restoring a sense of safety without forcing change.

Session 2 – Stabilising the System (Regulate)

We focus on:

• Settling physiological activation
• Increasing capacity to stay present with sensations
• Reducing fear-based amplification
• Rebuilding body trust

This is where regulation begins to shift and the system becomes more stable.

Session 3 – Integration and Reinforcement (Reset)

We consolidate:

• What stabilises your system
• What increases reactivity
• How to maintain regulation in daily life
• Clear next steps within your wider care plan

This phase helps interrupt the stress–symptom loop and support a more consistent response.

At the end of three sessions, the system is typically more stable, less reactive, and better able to respond to ongoing care.

This allows ongoing physiotherapy, medical care, or nutritional work to progress more effectively.

What Happens After

For some people, this is all that is needed.
They return to their physiotherapist, GP, or specialist with improved stability.

For others, this phase becomes the foundation for deeper nutritional or functional work.

The Reset stands as a complete intervention.

Is This Right For You?

This is appropriate if your symptoms feel reactive, unpredictable, or difficult to stabilise.

It may not be suitable if you are seeking long-term psychotherapy or crisis support.

If unsure, book a short call and we can clarify whether this is the right starting point.
