  • My work keeps me closely connected to what it means to be human.

It’s what I love most about what I do, and what it’s become.

On the surface, people come to me because of gut issues, hormonal imbalances, or fatigue. Often they’ve been dealing with them for years.

But the conversation usually becomes about something much deeper.

We’re not necessarily looking for something deeper. It just seems to be there.

I’ve been helping women with digestive and hormonal issues for almost 10 years, supporting gut function, identifying deficiencies, and restoring balance.

I get to witness the body’s remarkable natural ability to heal when given the right conditions. It’s a wonderful thing to be able to help with.

But I’ve noticed more and more that the people coming to me with chronic symptoms are also carrying pressures, stresses and responsibilities. Expectations they’ve carried for years. Ways of coping they’ve simply learned to live with. Parts of themselves they’ve slowly stopped noticing.

So alongside conversations about digestion, test results and supplement protocols, we often find ourselves exploring other questions.

How are they really feeling, beneath the noise?

    What is their body communicating?

What have they normalised and forgotten about?

What stories are they telling themselves?

These questions aren't always the reason people come to see me.

Yet they often seem to be there, waiting to be asked.

Symptoms matter. The test results matter. Nutrition matters.

But my real curiosity is about the person beneath it all.

The person trying to navigate health, relationships, responsibilities, work and everything else life asks of them.

Witnessing and supporting these parts of people is what makes this work feel so deeply human.

Perhaps there's something deeper within you that's worth noticing this week.
